I knew years ago that being on the computer MORE was not where it was at for me. Technology was speeding up but I was slowing down…and while I can still type 60 wpm and edit at the same time, I am just not so keen on having more relationship with an inanimate object. I think I’ve had my fill.  Hence why this idea of blogging, facebooking, twittering and social networking has not been so very interesting to me.

Living on Maui in Hawaii can be dreamy if you choose to live a style that is less urban, less busy, less STUFF!  I find that the more I enjoy the ocean through swimming and surfing; and the more I enjoy the mountains hiking and napping under the trees;  well, I just enjoy life more! Of course cooking organic and home-grown foods is another way to stay connected to what matters in this beautiful place I call home and I spent a portion of every week filling jars and containers for my fridge and freezer and friends.

While ocean views are nice, listening to the winter whales sing under the surface of the water is even better. So, listen, I’ve got to go now. I hear the whales singing their songs.
